Daniel M. Roy, 52 passed away on Thursday, September 13th following a long and bravely fought battle with glioblastoma.
Born in Leominster, he was the son of Joy (Tourigny) Roy Samson and the late Bruce J. Roy.
He had a 30 year long career with Verizon which was previously Bell Atlantic, Nynex and New England Tel. In the 80's, Daniel was a National Skating Champion out of Silver City Skating. He loved motorcycles, was an avid Bruins and Patriots Fan, and cherished time spent with his family.
Besides his mother, Daniel is survived by his beloved daughter, Madison Alayna Roy of Taunton; step-children, Amanda Pasquarosa and Cody Pasquarosa; sister, Jacqueline M. Roy of Lancaster; nephew, Scott E. Tardiff, Jr. of Lancaster; former wife, Candace (Carbone) Roy of Taunton; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to Dan’s Celebration of Life on Sunday, October 7th from 1-4pm.
