David Cordeiro, age 69 of North Dighton, passed away January 11, 2018 at his residence.
He was born in Fall River a son of the late Joseph Sr. and Irene (Sousa) Cordeiro.
Before retirement, David was employed with the Boston Globe for over 36 years as a linotype operator. He enjoyed sports and was an avid golfer.
David was the beloved brother of Raymond Cordeiro and his wife Pamela of Somerset and Milton Cordeiro and his wife Connie. He also leaves several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Joseph Cordeiro, Jr.
Mr. Cordeiro’s funeral with visitation will be held on Friday, January 19, 2018 at 10 am from the Silva Funeral Home 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary’s Square) in Taunton, with a funeral service to begin at 12 noon. Burial will be held in Saint Patrick Cemetery, County St. Somerset.
