Denise (Macedo) Thomas, age 72 of Taunton, passed away on November 28, 2024 at Morton Hospital.
Denise was the beloved wife of Jeffrey Thomas.
Born in Taunton, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Lidoina (Lima) Macedo.
Before her retirement, Denise was employed in retail sales and management for over 32 years.
Denise enjoyed shopping, trips to Foxwoods, vacationing and spending time with her lifelong friends. Above all, she had an unwavering devotion to her family. Nothing was more important to Denise than her family’s love and support. She took tremendous pride in the accomplishments of her children and grandchildren. Their success always brought her immense joy.
Besides her beloved husband Jeffrey of over 47 years, she is survived by her loving children, Kyle Thomas and his wife Erica of Rochester and Lauren Reyes and her husband Wade of Taunton; grandmother of Aylen, Lia, Savannah, Gavin, Ella, Audrey and Blair. Denise was the sister to Lisa Mellor of Hanover, and aunt/godmother to several nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be held on Tuesday, December 3, 2024 at 8:30am from the Silva Funeral Home 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary’s Square) Taunton, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in Saint Anthony Church School Street, Taunton.
Interment will follow in Saint Joseph Cemetery.
Visiting hours will be held on Monday, December 2nd from 4 to 7 pm in the Silva Funeral Home. Additional parking with handicap access is located on the North side of the funeral home.
