TAUNTON - Deolinda (Da Piedade) dos Santos, wife of Miguel dos Santos, died at Morton Hospital & Medical Center on June 11, 2011.
She was 91.
Born in Maxial, Torres Vedras, Portugal, she was the daughter of the late Eduardo Luis and Maria Joaquina.
She had lived in Taunton since moving from Canada in 1967.
Mrs. dos Santos was a communicant of Annunciation of The Lord Church, and enjoyed crocheting, embroidering, baking, jigsaw puzzles, and spending time with her family.
Besides her husband, she leaves two daughters, Maria DeVasconcellos and Maria Elias both of Taunton; a sister, Augusta Porifirio of Canada; six grandchildren, Manuel L. Franco, Elizabeth Terrill, Teresa Ford, Lisa Moynihan, Kristie Pelland, and Allison Elias; eleven great grandchildren, Monica, Ashley, Jillian, Vanessa, Michael, Mathew, Lillian, Mia, Liam, Olivia, and Molly; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also the sister of the late Luis Eduardo.
Calling hours will be held at Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway on Wednesday, June 15th from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. followed by a funeral mass at Annunciation of The Lord Church at 10:00 a.m.
Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
