Dolores (Torres) Fernandes

Dolores (Torres) Fernandes, age 88 of East Taunton, passed away on April 18, 2018 at Morton Hospital.

She was the beloved wife of the late Francisco Fernandes.

Born in Taunton, MA, she was a daughter of the late Phillip and Mary (Castro) Torres.

Dolores was the loving mother of Patricia Chaffin and her husband Jim, Ronald Fernandes and his wife Audrey and Barbara Poe, sister of Natalie Gouveia, grandmother of six and great grandmother of nine. She was predeceased by her siblings Joseph, Manuel, Philip, Charles and Anthony and  Mary Torres, Evelyn Cole, Mary Raposa and Nancy Joubert.

Mrs. Fernandes funeral with visitation will be held on Monday, April 23, 2018 from 9 to 10:30 am with a funeral home service to begin at 10:30 am, in the Silva Funeral Home 80 Broadway  (at Saint Mary’s Square ) in Taunton. (parking with full handicap access is located on the north side of the funeral home).

Burial will follow in Saint Joseph Cemetery.
