Dolores (Isidorio) Grandmont, age 92 of Taunton, passed away on February 6, 2022 at Morton Hospital.
She was the beloved wife of the late Wesley H. Grandmont, Sr.
Dolores was born in Fall River, the daughter of the late Manuel and Anna (Emmett) Isidorio. She moved to Taunton at the age of 8 and was educated in Taunton schools. She is a 1947 graduate of Taunton High School.
Before retiring, Mrs. Grandmont did the bookkeeping for her husband’s construction co., She was employed by H & R Block in the 1970’s as a tax preparer and later on as a receptionist.
She enjoyed sewing and designing clothes and loved watching and reading anything to do with fashion. She loved the water and swimming and was very interested in studying finance and investing.
Dolores is survived by her loving children; Deidre Grandmont of Taunton, Wesley H. Grandmont, Jr of ME and Kevin Grandmont of NH. Grandmother of Wesley Grandmont, III, Heather McQueen and Charles Grandmont, Sr, great-grandmother of Wesley Grandmont IV, Noah Grandmont, Lana Grandmont, Marcus McQueen, III, Jacob McQueen, Charles Grandmont , Jr and Emmiline Grandmont.
She was also the sister of the late Hilario Isidorio, Joseph Isidorio, Lillian Gazek, Frank Isidorio, Nora Isidorio, Vincent Isadore, Ledora Soitos, Irene Gray and Thelma Barabas.
Mrs. Grandmont’s funeral with visitation will be held on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at 9am from the Silva Funeral Home 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary’s Square) Taunton, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in Saint Andrew the Apostle Church Kilmer Ave, Taunton. Interment will follow in Saint Joseph Cemetery.
