Dolores Silvia, 85, passed away peacefully on June 5, 2026

Born to the late Leo LaHaie and Imelda (Lebeau) LaHaie, Dolores was a devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, companion, and friend whose life centered on family and the people she loved.

She is survived by her seven children Linda Gadbois; Paula Bobola and her husband Rick; Pamela Silvia; Anne Marie Kleinert and her husband Rand; Joseph Silvia; Cheryl Duarte and her husband Chris, and Thomas Silvia She was the loving grandmother to 16 grandchildren and proud great-grandmother to 15 great-grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her siblings, Leo LaHaie, Jr., Lorraine Vannier, Robert LaHaie, and Donald LaHaie.

Dolores was the longtime and beloved companion of the late Arthur Flores. Together they shared many happy years, dividing their time between Massachusetts and Hobe Sound, Florida. Dolores and Arthur loved to travel and were fortunate to explore destinations around the world. Their adventures, often shared with friends, created lasting memories and brought them great joy. They were also devoted New England sports fans and rarely missed an opportunity to cheer their favorite teams together. While raising her family, Dolores worked as a bookkeeper for the family-owned business and later as a telephone operator for New England Telephone.

Above all, Dolores cherished time spent with family and friends. She especially enjoyed gathering loved ones around her table, where her cooking, warmth, and hospitality made everyone feel welcome. She will be remembered for her kindness, quiet strength, generosity, and unwavering love for those closest to her.

Dolores was the former wife of Thomas Silvia.

The family extends its sincere gratitude to the caring staff of Autumn Glen at North Dartmouth and the Dialysis Center of Fall River for the compassion, kindness, and support they provided throughout her care.
