Dominga (Roderick) Pina, age 99, passed away on April 27, 2025.
She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph M. Pina who passed in 1973.
Born in Falmouth, Dominga was the daughter of the late George and Dominga (Fontes) Roderick.
Mrs. Pina enjoyed country music especially Johnny Cash and Kenny Rogers. She also loved scratch tickets and the lottery.
She is survived by her loving children, Sheila Pina, Paul Pina and Michael Pina. Grandmother and great-grandmother of many.
She was also the mother of the late Gordon Pina, Darien Pina and the late Ron Roderick who passed serving his county in Vietnam.
Mrs. Pina’s funeral will be held on Friday, May 9, 2025 at 9 am with a funeral service to begin at 10am in the Chapel of the Silva Funeral Home 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary’s Square) Taunton.
Interment will follow in Saint Joseph Cemetery.
Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, May 8th from 4 to 7pm in the Silva Funeral Home.
