Donald S. "Bum" Boutilier, age 47, of Assonet, formerly of Taunton, passed away unexpectedly on January 30, 2021 at his home. He was the beloved husband of Tammy (Lamothe) Boutilier. Bum graduated from Taunton High School in 1991. He had a love of baseball and softball and played for most of his life. He was coached for many years by his late grandfather Antone Silvia, Jr., of East Taunton, where he won his little league championship and traveled to Williamsburg to the Little League Hall of Fame. As much as he loved playing baseball and softball, his true love was spending time with his loving wife and his daughters, stepdaughters and the rest of his family. Bum was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys and the Boston Red Sox, loved coaching his daughter's softball league and camping with his family. Besides his loving wife Tammy and his parents Debra and Richard, Bum is survived by his daughters, Alyssa and Kourtney Boutilier, of Freetown and Abigail and Ella Rogers, of Assonet. He was the grandson of Eileen (LaCombe) Silvia, of East Taunton the late Donald S. Jr., and Helen Boutilier, of Taunton. He was also the brother of the late Dawn Boutilier, of Taunton. Bum also leaves behind his only niece and godchild, Dominique (Samantha) Blass and is the nephew to Richard and the late Patricia (Silvia) Martin, of  Berkley, Antone Silvia, Jr., of Taunton, and Michael and Janice Silvia, of Roanoke, VA and many cousins.
