Donatilde V. (Amaral ) Ferreira, age 63 of Taunton, passed away at her residence on March 22, 2024 with her loving family by her side.
She was the beloved wife of Luis Ferreira.
Born in Sao Miguel, Donatilde was the daughter of the late Antonio and Maria Jose (Vieira) Amaral.
Before her illness, Mrs. Ferreira was employed for many years in electronics.
She enjoyed long walks, gardening, shopping, going to the beach, but most of all spending time with her family.
Besides her beloved husband Luis of over 42 years, she is survived by her loving children; Darren and Larry Ferreira both of Taunton, her sisters, Maria Pimentel and Ines Pimentel both of Taunton. She was also the sister of the late Jose Amaral, and mother of her late Great Dane Brutus.
Mrs. Ferreira’s funeral will be held on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at 7:45am from the Silva Funeral Home 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary’s Square) Taunton, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9am in Saint Anthony Church School Street, Taunton.
Her burial will be held privately.
Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, March 26th from 4 to 7pm. In the Silva Funeral Home.
