Dorothy J. (Pittard) Bennett, 73, of Middleboro, formerly of Raynham, passed away on Thursday, June 25, 2020, following an extensive battle with Parkinson’s.
Born in Boston, daughter of Dorothy (Faulkner) Pittard of Easton and the late Frederick Pittard. Dorothy managed stocks and bonds with the Bank of Boston for many years. She was known for her love of antiques and collectibles.
Besides her mother, Dorothy is survived by her siblings, Margaret Samsel of Georgia, Rose Jones and her husband Robert of South Easton, Carolyn Sinclair of Houston, Texas, Jacqueline Pittard of Marion, Fred “Bud” Pittard of Houston, Texas, Theresa Pittard of Dallas, Texas, Gerard Pittard and his wife Carolee of Houston, Texas and Loretta Pittard of Taunton; her life companion, James Levesque of Raynham, and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Thursday, July 2, 2020, at 11 AM in Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, where her Funeral Service will take place at 12 PM. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.
