Dorothy Ann (Rose) Quagan, age 81, passed away at John Scott House Rehabilitation and Nursing Center on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 surrounded by her loving family.
She was the wife of the late Richard J. Quagan.
Born in Taunton, she was the daughter of the late Francis Sr. and Mary (Cabral) Rose.
Dottie loved spending time with her family. She was a kind, sweet soul with a big heart and a contagious laugh! She loved helping people, enjoyed traveling and reading novels. She was known as an avid shopper with impeccable taste! Dottie, will be missed by all who loved her!
Dorothy is survived by her daughters; Diane Russell and husband Christopher, Lynn Haskins and husband Doug, Kelly Wilbar and husband Lee, grandchildren; Sarah Smith and husband Aaron, D.J.Haskins and fiance Jillian Bowles, Maxwell Russell and wife Mimi, Bethany Wilbar, Nicole Haskins, Christina Wilbar, Zachary Russell, Abbey Wilbar, great grandchildren; Killian Smith, Donovan Haskins and step great grandchild Gavin Smith. She also leaves several nieces and nephews. Dorothy was the sister of the late Francis Rose Jr., and Loretta Carroll.
Dorothy’s funeral will be held on Friday, October 15, 2021 at 9:30am from the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary’s Square) Taunton, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00am in Saint Ann Church, Raynham.
Interment will follow in Saint Joseph Cemetery.
Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, October 14th from 5-7pm in the Silva Funeral Home. Additional parking with handicap access is located on the North side of the Funeral Home.
