TAUNTON/RAYNHAM - Dorothy P. (Matildes) Sypek, wife of the late Bernard Sypek, died at the Life Care Center of Raynham on November 29, 2010.
She was 86.
Born in Taunton, she was the daughter of the late Joaquim and Maria (Santos) Matildes.
Raised and educated in Taunton, she was a graduate of Taunton High School. Mrs. Sypek was employed by the former Taunton branch of the New Bedford Institution for Savings, later working as a bilingual teacher's aide in the Taunton school system.
She retired many years ago.
Mrs. Sypek enjoyed gardening and was an avid reader.
Survivors include three sons, Bernard E. and Jeffrey P. Sypek, both of Taunton, and Richard D. Sypek of FL; a sister, Alice Cordeiro of Somerset; three grandchildren; and two nieces.
Funeral Services will be held at the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Taunton on Friday Dec. 3rd 11:30 a.m.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
Calling Hours will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, Dec. 2nd from 4 to 7 p.m.
Burial will be at the MA National VA Cemetery in Bourne.
