Dorothy Yuknis

Dorothy (Triveri) Yuknis, age 79, passed away on Friday, December 29, 2017 at Morton Hospital.

She was the beloved wife of the late Ronald Yuknis.

Mrs. Yuknis was born in Taunton, a daughter of the late Emanuele and Rose (Rampone) Triveri.

Dorothy was a graduate of Taunton High School class of 1956 and received her bachelor and master degrees from Bridgewater State College. She was employed as a teacher for the Attleboro Schools for 12 years. She later worked at the Sil Med Corp. and Saint Gobain Corp. in Taunton. She was a longtime Communicate of the Annunciation of the Lord Church.

Dorothy was the mother of William Yuknis and his wife Christina of Columbia, Maryland and Matthew Yuknis and his wife Megan of Franklin, MA. She was the loving grandmother of Benjamin and Lilly Yuknis of Franklin. She was also the sister of Robert Triveri and sister-in-law of Marcia Triveri of Walpole. She was predeceased by her brother Arthur Dorato.

Dorothy’s funeral will be held on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at 8:45am from the Silva Funeral Home 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary’s Square) Taunton, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in the Annunciation of the Lord Church, First St., Taunton. Interment will be in Saint Joseph Cemetery.

Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 from 6 to 8pm at the Silva Funeral Home.
