Dorothy (Enos) Alves, age 94, of Taunton, passed away on Saturday, November 30, 2024, at RegalCare at Taunton.
Born in Taunton, she was one of five children born to the late Manuel and Mary (Vasconcellos) Enos. She grew up in Taunton.
A hardworking woman with a great work ethic, Dorothy spent much of her time working as an Operator at Morton Hospital. Prior to that she spent time working as an Office Administrator for Reed & Barton.
Dorothy is survived by her cherished children: Richard Ferreira, Glenn Ferreira and his wife Patricia, Karen Ferreira Stark and her late husband Albert Stark, and Neal Ferreira and his significant other: Chris Conti; her grandchildren: Lori, Erynn, and Mitchell; her great-grandchildren: Olivia, Nicholas, Veronica, and Alexia; her siblings: Glenn, Grace,Valerie and the late Joan Devenney; and also many nieces and nephews.
Dorothy’s funeral with visitation will be held on Friday, December 6, 2024 at 9am with a Funeral Service to begin at 10am in the Chapel of the Silva Funeral Home 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary’s Square) Taunton. Interment in Saint Joseph Cemetery, Taunton.
