Dulce (da Fonseca Pedrosa ) Amoedo, age 90 of Raynham, passed away on November 17, 2019 at home with her loving family by her side.
She was the beloved wife of the late Vasco Pires Amoedo.
Dulce was born in Lisbon, Portugal a daughter of the late Salvador and Piedade (da Fonseca) Pedrosa.
Dulce's life focus was her family, primarily her grandchildren and most recently her great grandchildren. The highlight being her Sunday dinners where she enjoyed sharing her cooking talents.
Her other love was for the friendship she and her husband had with a close knit group of friends, whom she spoke fondly of the memories of those gatherings. She additionally enjoyed maintaining her colorful gardens and house plants of which she took great pride.
She is survived by her son Roy Amoedo and wife Donna of Raynham, grandchildren; Eric Amoedo and wife Annemarie, Kyle Amoedo and girlfriend Alyssa DeBenedictis, and Kayla Bruni and husband Christopher, great grandchildren; Isaac and Grace Amoedo. She also leaves her sister Isaura Pedrosa and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Amoedo’s funeral with visitation will be held on Friday, November 22, 2019 at 9:30 am from the Silva Funeral Home 80 Broadway (Saint Mary’s Square) Taunton, with a funeral home service to begin at 11 am. Interment will follow in Saint Joseph Cemetery.
