RAYNHAM - Edith (Silva) Roberio Ryng, wife of the late Edward Ryng and the late Joseph Roberio, died at the Life Care Center of Raynham on Jan. 9, 2012.
She was 83 years old.
Born, raised, and educated in Taunton, she was the daughter of the late Manuel and Mary (Medeiros) Silva.
She was employed as a private housekeeper in the Taunton area home for many years until retiring several years ago.
A communicant of Annunciation of The Lord Church, she enjoyed Bingo, Foxwoods excursions, and spending time with her family.
She leaves a son, John Roberio of Taunton; five daughters, Cynthia Beard of Taunton, Margaret Perry of Wareham, Valerie Andrade, Beverly Pothier and Lynda Sisson, all of Taunton; two sisters, Edna White of Raynham, and Laura Grasso of Taunton; twenty-one grandchildren; thirty-two great grandchildren; one great great grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
She was also the mother of the late David Roberio and Laura Tweedy, and sister of the late Manuel Silva and Mary Silva.
Her funeral will be held from the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Taunton on Thursday, Jan. 12th at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral mass at Annunciation of The Lord Church at 10 a.m.
Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
Calling Hours will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, Jan. 11th from 5 to 8 p.m.
