Edward M Mckenney

Edward ( “Ned”) M. McKenney, age 64 of Taunton, passed away on December 11, 2017 at RI Hospital with his loving family by his side.

Edward was born in Taunton, a son of the late William C. and Barbara J. (Megan) McKenney.

Mr. McKenney was employed with Trucchi’s Supermarket for over 20 years. He was a member of the Elks Lodge of Taunton, Graduate of Coyle High School and SMU. He was also a member of the  Alumni of Coyle High School. His caring nature of others was represented by his willingness to be an organ donor.

Edward was an avid sports fan, loved to travel and spend time with his family.

He was the brother of Naidene Doucette of Pocasset, MA and her late husband Ronald, Deborah A. McKenney of Roslindale , Anne “Nancy” Ashcroft and husband Jeffrey of North Dighton and Elizabeth “Lisa” O’Toole and her husband Paul of Somerset. He was also the brother of the late Paul and William E. McKenney. He had several nieces and nephews.

A private graveside service was held at Saint Joseph Cemetery in Taunton.
