Efrain Ortiz Bonilla, age 71 of Taunton, passed away on April 30, 2021 at Morton Hospital.
He was the beloved husband of Maria (Lopes) Bonilla.
Born in Orocovis, Puerto Rico he was the son of the late Heliodoro and Santa (Ortiz) Bonilla.
Before his illness, Mr. Bonilla was a truck driver for several companies.
He enjoyed fishing, cooking and being with his grandchildren.
Besides his beloved wife Maria of over 45 years, he is survived by loving children: Steven Bonilla and his wife Ryann of Rehoboth, Nelson Bonilla, Manuel Bonilla and his wife Angela both of Dighton, Angelo Rodriguez of Lynn, Digna Nord of Boston and the late Miguel Lebron. He was a beloved grandfather to his 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren, brother to Hilda Bonilla, Olga Bonilla, Sonia Bonilla, Tonia Bonilla, Jose Bonilla, Lolito Bonilla, Robeio Bonilla, Hilda Bonilla, Eleonor Bonilla, Lucy Bonilla, Mayra Bonilla, Gina Bonilla, Mariza Bonilla, Miquel Bonilla and the late Jose Bonilla.
Visiting hours will begin at 4pm on Saturday, May 8, 2021 followed by a funeral service at 7pm in the Chapel of the Silva Funeral Home 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary’s Square) Taunton. Interment will be held privately.
Additional parking with handicap access is located on the North side of the Funeral Home.
During all services, facial coverings and social distancing will be required.
