Elaine (Perry) Correia, age 86,of East Taunton a dedicated mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend - passed away on Friday, February 10, 2023.
She was the beloved wife of the late Charles E. Correia, Jr who passed in September of 2022.
Born in Taunton, Elaine was the daughter of the late Antone and Mary (Braga) Perry.
Before retiring, Elaine was employed with the Commonwealth of MA as a clerk typist.
She enjoyed cooking, baking and collected thousands of recipes over the years. She enjoyed just simply staying at home.
Elaine is survived by her loving sons; Raymond Correia and wife Lori of Rehoboth, Michael Correia and wife Theresa of Middleboro and Charles “Chuck” Correia and wife Kelly of Plainville. She was the grandmother of Lauren, Brian and Bridget, great-grandmother of Evelyn and Andre. She was also the sister of the late Mary Mello, Antone and Annie Perry.
Mrs. Correia’s funeral with visitation will be held on Thursday, February 16, 2023 at 9 am from the Silva Funeral Home 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary’s Square) Taunton, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am in Holy Family Church Middleboro Ave East Taunton. Interment will be held privately at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts made to a charity of one’s choice in Mrs. Correia’s memory, would be deeply appreciated.
