Eleanor L. (Amadio) Lagace

Eleanor L. Lagace (Amadio) 92, of Wrentham, passed away on Wednesday, March 25, 2020 at Maples Rehabilitation & Nursing Center in Wrentham. She was the wife of the late Philip F. Lagace. Born in Attleboro, MA, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Atilla (Dugas) Amadio.

She worked as a solderer at Texas Instruments for many years. Eleanor was an active member of her local parish, St. Joseph's Church in North Dighton and LaSalette Shrine in Attleboro. She was also a member of the first class of trained volunteers for the Taunton Hospice office and served as a volunteer for many years.

Mrs. Lagace leaves her two children, Kenneth Lagace, of Marston Mills and Diane Lagace, of Franklin; four grandchildren, Peter Lagace, Amy Lavoie, Catherine Gibson, and Danielle Bumpus; and six great grandchildren, Andrew Lagace, Emily Lagace, Margo Stewart, Vivian Stewart, Bennett Gibson, and James Bumpus. She was the mother of the late Elaine Lavoie and sister of the late Raymond Amadio, Donald Amadio, and Jeannette Brassard.

In accordance with her wishes, all services will be private. A memorial service and interment in Saint Joseph Cemetery will be held at a later date.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Taunton.
