RAYNHAM - Elizabeth (Amaral) Machnik, wife of Thomas E. Machnik, died at her Raynham home on Oct. 29, 2013.
She was 59.
Born in New Bedford, she was the daughter of the late David and Grace (Simons) Amaral.
She was raised and educated in New Bedford.
A Raynham resident for the past twenty years, Elizabeth worked as a waitress in area restaurants for the past several years.
In her spare time, she enjoyed gambling and watching reality TV shows.
She especially enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.
In addition to her husband of Raynham, she leaves two sons, Richard and David Monty, both of NH; a brother, David Amaral of New Bedford; two sisters, Grace and Deborah Botelho, both of New Bedford; eight grandchildren; one great grandson; and several nieces and nephews. She was also the mother of the late Shane Tavares.
Funeral services will be held at the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Taunton on Tuesday, Nov. 5th at 12 noon.
Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
Calling Hours will be held at the funeral home on Monday, Nov. 4th from 5 to 8 p.m.
