Elizabeth Anne Rose, age 91 of North Dighton, passed away on June 21, 2025 at Charlton Memorial Hospital.
Betty was born in North Dighton, the daughter of the late Thomas F. and Anna F. Rose.
Betty graduated from Dighton High School in 1952 and was the Dighton Town Clerk for 35 years until she retired.
She enjoyed spending time with, and was the happiest, when surrounded by her nieces, nephews, their families and friends.
Betty is survived by her sister-in-law, Mrs. Eleanor Read, her nieces and nephews: John Rose (Denise), Diane Smith (Jeffrey), Donna Wiggins (Russell), Thomas Rose III (Judith), Deborah Moran (James), Patricia Rose (Julie), Nancy McKenna (Patrick), Lisa Mackesy (John), Kimberley Lopes (Jeffrey), their families, and several cousins.
She was also the sister of the late Thomas F. Rose, Jr., John F. Rose, MaryAnn Simbrom, Robert F. Rose, and the aunt of the late Michael Simbrom.
Betty’s funeral, with visitation, will be held on Friday, June 27, 2025 at 9am followed by a service at 10am in the Chapel of the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary’s Square) Taunton.
Interment will follow in Saint Joseph Cemetery.
