Ellen (Dromey) Raggiani, age 78 of Raynham, passed away on May 29, 2020 with her loving family by her side.
She was the beloved wife of Albert Raggiani, Sr.
Ellen was born in Sharon, MA, and was a 1959 graduate of Canton High School and the daughter of the late Matthew and Mary (Taylor) Dromey.
Ellen was employed at Raytheon for many years and then worked as a CNA for Beverly Enterprises.
Ellen enjoyed her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and the many foster children she opened her heart and home to. She also enjoyed many years of fun, laughter and navigating life challenges with her teenage sweetheart, Al. She always cherished time with extended family members and dear friends. She enjoyed baking, her swimming pool, cookouts, her cat, hummingbirds, flowers, shamrocks and the King of Rock and Roll-Elvis.
Besides her beloved husband Albert of over 58 years, she is survived by her loving children; Audrey DeMarino and her husband Robert of West Bridgewater, Patrick Raggiani and his wife Susan of Virginia, Albert Raggiani, Jr. of Raynham, Steven Raggiani of Raynham, Raymond Raggiani and his wife Rena of Berkley, Lisa Raggiani and her husband Tim of Raynham. She was the grandmother of Robert DeMarino, Jr., Vanessa Gower, Nicole DeMarino, Kristian DeMarino, Malinda Raggiani, Shawn Raggiani, Kristen Raggiani, Maiya Raggiani, Nylan Raggiani, Maylee Raggiani, Samantha Coute, Tyler Coute, Nicholas Coute, Adam Coute and the late Brandon Ouelette. She also has 8 great grandchildren and 2 on the way.She was the sister of Richard Teague of Brockton, Raymond Teague and his wife Candace of Mansfield, the late Charlene Irving of Stoughton & the late Kenneth Grover of Stoughton and many nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2020 from 3 to 5pm with a prayer service to begin at 5pm in the Silva Funeral Home 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary’s Square) Taunton. Social distancing will be observed, please wait in your vehicle and a staff member will escort you into the funeral home.
Her burial will be held privately at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne.
