Elsie M. (Morey) Carr

Elsie M. (Morey) Carr, wife of the late Edward O. Carr, died at the Taunton Nursing Home on March 8, 2009.
She was 98.
Born in Taunton, she was the daughter of the late John Morey and Louisa Gonsalves Thomas.
Educated in Taunton schools, she was later employed by local curtain factories, before retiring many years ago.
She leaves 2 sisters, Audrey Balelo and Phyllis Almeida, both of Taunton; and many nieces and nephews.
She was also the sister of the late Alfred, Arthur, Charles and Ferdinand Morey, Anna Cabral, Evelyn Carvalho, Stella Kelliher Cordeiro; and Roderick and John Morey, Jr.
Funeral Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
Calling Hours are respectfully omitted.
Interment will be private at the MA National VA Cemetery, Bourne.
Arrangements are by the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Taunton.
