Elva R. (Tirado) DeJesus, age 82 of Taunton, passed away on February 13, 2020 at Longmeadow of Taunton.
She was the wife of the late Victor DeJesus who passed in 2016.
Elva was born in Puerto Rico, a daughter of the late Alfredo and Benincia (Sanchez) Tirado.
Before retiring, Mrs. DeJesus was employed as a stitcher with the former Robertson Factory for over 20 years. She enjoyed Cooking, gardening and sewing, most of all she was a loving and caring person who was devoted to her family.
She was the loving mother of Carmen M. Rose and her husband Robert , and Marisol Cabrera and her husband Jose all of Rehoboth, Grandmother of Sarah, Lindsy, Bobby and Matt, great-Grandmother of Jeziah, Gabriel, Victor, Henry and Romeo. She was also the sister of Efrain Tirado of Puerto Rico
Elva’s funeral with visitation will be held on Tuesday ,February 18, 2020 at 8:30am from The Silva Funeral Home 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary’s Square) Taunton, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in Saint Mary’s Church Broadway, Taunton.
Interment will follow in Mayflower Hill Cemetery..
