Eva F. (Pavao) Dupont, age 94, formerly of Plain St., Taunton, passed away on February 24, 2020 at Longmeadow of Taunton. She was the beloved wife of the late Daniel R. Dupont, to whom she was happily married for over 52 years. Eva was born in Fall River, the daughter of the late Manuel and Izabel (Ferreira) Pavao. Before retiring, Mrs. Dupont was employed with the former Taunton Sports Wear and with the Taunton School Dept. as a cafeteria aide for over 14 years. Eva was a communicant and active volunteer of the former Our Lady of Lourdes Church and relished time spent with her cherished son and family. Mrs. Dupont is survived by her loving son Brian R. Dupont of Salem, a sister Jacqueline Vincent of Fall River and also sisters Joan Dupont, Marie Pavao and Mary Joaquin, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Thomas Pavao, Mary Powers and Evelyn Rebello.
Private funeral arrangements are with the Silva Funeral Home of Taunton. Interment will be in Saint Joseph Cemetery.
