Evelyn (Silvia) Enos, age 87 of Taunton, passed away peacefully on July 16, 2018 at Marian Manor.
Evelyn was born in Taunton, a daughter of the late John P. and Anna (Cabral) Silvia
She was a 1949 Graduate of Taunton High a member of the woman’s Guild at the former Our Lady of Lourdes Church. Evelyn was a strong, loving adventurous person who enjoyed every minute she could spend with her family.
Before retiring in 2006, Evelyn worked at the Paul A. Dever School and in later years worked in private community homes. She was a passionate advocate for the developmentally disabled.
She was the loving mother of Joanne M. Lynch of Taunton, Dianne E. Underwood of Sarasota, FL, Tracy A. Enos of Clearwater, FL and Kimberly A. Enos of N. Dighton. Evelyn was also the grandmother of 7, great-grandmother of 7, sister of John R. Silvia and aunt of Robert Sivia both of AZ. She was also the beloved mother of the late Michael J. Enos
Evelyn’s funeral will be held on Saturday, July 21, 2018 at 8:30 am from the Silva Funeral Home 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary’s Square) Taunton, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in the Annunciation of the Lord Church First Street, Taunton. Interment will follow in Saint Joseph Cemetery.
Visiting hours will be held in the Silva Funeral Home on Friday, July 20th from 4 to 7pm.
