Everett N. Pacheco, 86, life-long resident of Dighton, passed away on Thursday, February 1st, 2018.
Born in Fall River, he was the loving son of the late Joseph and Clara (Costa) Pacheco, and the longtime companion of the late Dolores Walker.
Everett was a Dighton High School graduate, class of 1949. He worked for the former road construction company, Campanella & Cardi. He retired in 1999 from the former McCabe Sand & Gravel and belonged to the Teamsters Union. Everett was a member of the Winthrop Street Baptist Church, where he served as head usher for many years.
Survivors include his brothers, Joseph P. Pacheco of Dighton and Paul C. Pacheco of Boston; niece, Robin L. LaCroix of Dighton; nephews, Paul D. Pacheco of Dighton, Michael A. Pacheco of Dighton and Jeff E. Pacheco of Mansfield; and several great nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be held on Thursday, February 8th at 10:00am in the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, where his service will take place at 11:00am. Interment in Dighton Unitarian Cemetery. Calling hours Wednesday from 5-8pm.
Additional parking with handicap access is located on the north side of the funeral home.
