Fernanda (Jardim) Ventura, age 87 of Taunton, passed away on December 18, 2022 at the Life Care Center of Raynham. The widow of the late Kenneth P. Ventura. Fernanda was born in Funchal, Madeira, Portugal. The daughter of the late Manuel S. Jardim and Leocardia Gomes Jardim. Before retiring, Mrs. Ventura was employed at Marion Manor and Morton Hospital. She enjoyed watching QVC, dolls, yardsales, baking and taking care of her grandchildren. Mrs. Ventura is survived by her loving children: Michael Ventura of Taunton, Timothy Ventura of Taunton, Joseph Ventura and his fiance Heather Harvey of Taunton and Linda M. Henault and her husband Robert E. Henault of Lakeville. She was the grandmother of Michelle, Richard, Kristen, Andrew, Alicia, Nicholas, Tyler, Desirae, Timothy Jr., Joseph Jr., Justin, and Alicia. Great-grandmother of Kaylee, Arianna, Valentina, Violet, Miller, Mason, Adam, Bella, Rylan, Colton, Cole, Cooper, Abigail, Lilyana, A.J., Lucas, Evan, and Sophia. Sister of Maria Silveria of Taunton and Mary Grezenda of Plainville. She was also the mother of the late Kenneth J. Ventura Jr. And sister of the late Joseph Jardim, MaryJo Jardim and Mary Isabelle Medeiros. Mrs. Ventura’s funeral with visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at 10am with a funeral service to begin at 12 Noon in the Chapel of the Silva Funeral Home 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary’s Square) Taunton. Interment will follow in Saint Joseph cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to March of Dimes, St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital and/or Jocelyn Diabetes Center in Mrs. Ventura’s name
