Florence R. Ferrie, 89, of Fall River, formerly of Dighton, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Tuesday, August 29th, 2017.
She was the widow of Daniel Ferrie. Born in Dighton, daughter of the late Antone and Mary Frances Rose. Florence worked as a Nurses Aide for Taunton State Hospital.
Survivors include her children, Daniel A. Ferrie of Dighton, Scott F. Ferrie of Fayetteville, NC and Bonnie Root of New Bedford; sisters, Mildred B. Eckstrom of Los Angeles, CA and Lorraine K. Mendes of Dighton; 18 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Arrangements with Silva Funeral Home were privately held.
