TAUNTON - Florence H. (Remillard) Florence, wife of the late Dennis Florence, died at the Life Care Center of Raynham, surrounded by her loving family on July 5, 2014.She was 94.
Born in Taunton, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Gladys(Haskins) Remillard.
She was a lifelong resident of Taunton, and graduated from Taunton High School in 1939.
A retired welder, Mrs. Florence was employed by Texas Instruments for thirty-two years before retiring many years ago.
She enjoyed traveling and vacationing on Cape Cod.
Survivors include two daughters, Jannis DeBrito and her husband Avelino of Wheatland, CA. and Karen Marotte of Taunton; a sister, Shirley Alexander of Raynham; four grandchildren; six great grandchildren; two great - great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also the sister of the late Stanley M. Remillard, and the grandmother of the late Erik DeBrito.
Funeral Services will be held at the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Taunton on Thursday, July 10th at 10 a.m.
The family will be receiving visitors from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.,prior to the services.
Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
