Florinda (Pina) Watson, age 102 of Taunton, passed away on March 28, 2025.
She was the beloved wife of the late Frederick Watson.
Florinda was born in Taunton, the daughter of the late Michael and Mary (Teixeira) Pina.
Mrs. Watson enjoyed dancing, singing and enjoyed time spent with family and friends. She was a member of the Baptist Church of all Nations and the Cape Verdean Club.
Florinda is survived by four nieces, Marie Agyei, E. Jean Richards, Jane Quist and her husband Charlie, Sheila Pina, two nephews, Paul Pina and Michael Pina. Mrs. Watson is also survived by many Great nieces and nephews, as well as many great-great nieces and nephews and great-great-great nieces and nephews. Five generations. Florinda was also the sister of the late Alice Bullock and the late Joseph Pina.
Mrs. Watson’s visiting hours will be held on Friday, April 4, 2025 beginning at 9am with a service to begin at 10am in the Baptist Church of all Nations located at 61 Winthrop Street, Taunton MA 02780.
Interment will follow in Cedar Knoll Cemetery, East Taunton.
