Francis J. Dias, 75, of Taunton, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family on March 31st, 2018, following a courageous battle with cancer.

He was the husband of Louise M. (LaFreniere) Dias. Born in Taunton, son of the late John G. Dias and Charlotte (Antones) Dias.

Francis was a Vietnam Veteran of the U.S. Army and worked for Hathaway Construction.

Besides his wife Louise, survivors include his children, Frank Dias of Mid West City, OK and Keith Dias and his wife Jennifer of Taunton; grandchildren, Kelvin Howard, Michael Dias, John Dias, Jon Pilling, Jr., Madeline Dias and Rebecca White; his niece, Lolita Tucker; nephews, Martin Dias (wife - Niko), Jeffrey Correira and Alan Correira; seven great nieces and one great great niece. He was also brother of the late Gilbert A. Dias.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass on Tuesday, April 10th at 11:30am in Annunciation of the Lord Church. Interment with Military Honors will follow in St. Jospeh Cemetery. Visitation will take place at the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, prior to Mass from 9:30am to 10:30am.
