TAUNTON - Francisca (Agosto) Costa, wife of the late Manuel Dutra Costa, died on Wednesday, Aug. 27th at Marian Manor at the age of 92.
Born in Fayal, Azores, she was the daughter of the late Manuel and Emilia (da Conceicao) Agosto.
Educated in Portugal, she moved to the area in 1969.
She was a communicant of Annunciation of the Lord Church.
She leaves 2 sons, Manuel Costa of CA and Humberto Costa and his wife Linda of Taunton; 3 daughters; Maria DaRosa of Canada, and Maria Teresa Silveira and Zelia Ventura, both of Taunton; 4 grandchildren; Kathleen Costa and Matthew Ventura, both of Taunton, and Joe and George DaRosa, both of Canada; 2 great-grandchildren, Alexandria and Jordan DaRosa, both of Canada; and several nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be held from the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway on Saturday, Aug. 30th at 10:30 a.m. followed by a funeral mass at Annunciation of the Lord Church at 11:30 a.m.
Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
