TAUNTON - Francisco Freitas Cabral, husband of the late Adelina Moura (Bernardo) Cabral, died at Morton Hospital on Sunday, Dec. 14th at the age of 85.
Born in Santa Maria, Azores, he was the son of the late Jose A. and Maria (Freitas) Cabral.
A veteran of the Portuguese Army, he worked as a landscaper for over 30 years, before moving to the United States in 1986.
A communicant of St. Anthony Church, he leaves 2 sons, Jose B. Cabral of Attleboro, and Antonio B. Cabral of Taunton; a brother, Manuel F. Cabral of Winnipeg, Canada; 6 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He was also the brother of the late Antonio, Joao, Jose and Emilia F. Cabral.
His funeral will be held from the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, on Wednesday, Dec. 17th at 8 a.m. followed by a funeral mass at St. Anthony Church at 9 a.m. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery.
