Fred Alden Patterson, age 87 of Taunton, passed away on July 11, 2018 at Rhode Island Hospital.
He was the loving Fiancee of Marjorie (Lundin) Armstead.
Fred was born in Woburn, MA a son of the late Fred R. and Mary (Barry) Patterson.
Before retirement, Fred was the owner and operator of Quality Industrial Propane for over 33 years.
Fred was a 1949 Graduate of Winchester High, he also served his country during the Korean Conflict with the Army as a Corporal. He was a member of the VFW in Winchester and a former member of the Sharon Country Club. Fred enjoyed all sports especially golf.
Besides his loving Fiancee Marjorie, Fred is survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
Visiting hours will be held on Sunday ,July 15, 2018 from 1 to 5 pm with a funeral service beginning at 5 pm in the chapel of the Silva Funeral Home 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary’s Square) Taunton. Interment will be held privately in Saint Mary of the Nativity Cemetery, Scituate, MA.
(Additional parking with handicap access is located on the north side of the funeral home.)
