In Taunton, Gail F. Goodwin, age 76, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, following a period of declining health.
Gail leaves behind her devoted and loving husband of 53 years, Richmond Goodwin of Taunton.
Gail was born in Brockton, the daughter of the late Paul C. and Wilma (Ackerman) DiNunno. She attended Brockton Public Schools, where she was a graduate of Brockton High School, Class of 1966.
Prior to being retired, Gail was an L.P.N. at Goddard Hospital in Stoughton. Gail enjpyed trips to Foxwoods and especially going to the beach.
In addition to her husband, Gail leaves behind her children: David B. Goodwin and his wife Tammy of West Bridgewater and Michael P. Goodwin and his wife Rachel of Bridgewater; her loving grandchildren: Matthew Goodwin, Casey, Tyler, and Ella Goodwin; her siblings: Donna Bochetti of Florida, Margie McWilliams of Plymouth, and David DiNunno of Cape Cod; and also nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
In addition to her parents, Gail is preceded in passing by her siblings: Elizabeth Basset and Paul and Danny DiNunno.
Gails’s funeral will be held on TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 25, 2025 at 10:00am with a service to begin at 10:30am in the chapel of the Silva Funeral Home 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary’s Square) Taunton.
Interment will be in Saint Joseph Cemetery, Taunton.
