Gail “Mimi” (Monti) O’Sullivan, age 69, of Fairhaven and formerly of Randolph passed away on August 21, 2025 at Saint Luke Hospital.

Born in Boston, Gail was the daughter of the late John and Anna (Lindstedt) Monti.

Before retiring, Gail was employed as a Nurse for many years. Most of her career she worked for the Commonwealth of MA at the Wrentham Developmental Center. Here she found her passion caring for people with challenges.

She enjoyed time with her Grandchildren; cheering for them on various ball fields and making them all feel special & valued, reading, animals; particularly dogs, nature; the mountains and lakes, deep discussions; particularly on space & the universe, her friends; which she made everywhere she went, gift giving, adventures to the casino, a perfect steak dinner, the joy of scratch tickets, beautiful sunsets, history, her Pepsi’s, the simple comforts of a bath & a cozy robe, the beauty in every-day life, and starting her day “after coffee.”

Besides her beloved companion Bill of over 23 years, Gail is survived by a loving son, Kevin O’Sullivan and his wife Liz of Raynham, grandmother of Hailey, Katie, Connor, Cameron, Kailynn, Madelyn and Julia. Sister of Lauren Greeley of Middleboro and Jill Monti of Plymouth. Gail is also survived by her Grand-dog Moose.

Gail was the mother of the late John J. O’Sullivan who passed in 2017 and sister of the late Donna Dooley and Karen Trischitta. Gail was the former wife of John D. O’Sullivan who passed in 2012.

Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, August 26, 2025 from 5 to 7pm in the Chapel of the Silva Funeral Home 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary’s Square) Taunton. Additional parking with handicap access is located on the North side of the funeral home.
