TAUNTON- Gail Marie Vargas, age 68, of Taunton, passed away on Friday, January 19, 2024, at her home in Taunton.
Born in Taunton, she was the daughter of the late George P. Wetherell and Barbara M. (Gilbert) Trepanier.
For many years, Gail worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant in various Taunton area nursing homes. She most recently was employed at Marian Manor Nursing Home in Taunton. She took great pride in providing wonderful care and support to her dear patients.
In her spare time, Gail was an avid collector of anything panda bear themed or items purple in color. She will be remembered for her kind demeanor and cheerful mood. Above all, she loved time spent and memories made with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren,and the Lahar family.
Gail is survived by her children: Melissa Comastra and her husband Dustin and Jason Trottier and his wife Sherri; her 7 grandchildren: Anthony, Steven, Nathan, Crystal, Amanda, Dustin, and Samantha; her 10 great-grandchildren; her aunt: Beverly Cohelo; and also her extended family members.
A Celebration of Life and Burial at Mayflower Hill Cemetery will be held in the Spring.
