George E. Nuttall, age 79 of Taunton, passed away at Morton Hospital on December 21, 2023. He was the beloved husband of the late Jennifer (Glass) Nuttall, and steadfast father to her son, Joshua Nuttall, which he adopted soon after her passing. George was born in Dighton, the son of the late Albert and Alice (Carter) Nuttall, Sr. Mr. Nuttall was employed for over 40 years as a Truck Driver, operating tractor-trailer over long distance, regionally and locally. Most recently, before retiring, George happily worked with Purity Linen Service in New Bedford as a delivery driver. He enjoyed watching Westerns and sports, with his favorite teams being the Boston Bruins and the New England Patriots; he also enjoyed NASCAR and other types of motorsports. Mr. Nuttall proudly served his country with the Navy during Vietnam in Korea aboard the U.S.S. Wasp, an Aircraft Carrier stationed out of Quonset Point in North Kingstown, R.I. He was the father of Joshua Nuttall of Taunton, brother of Nancy DeSilvia of East Taunton and the late Albert Jr. and David Nuttall Sr. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews and their families.
