Gerald T. Nolan, age 90 of East Taunton, passed away at his residence on May 14, 2026 with his loving family by his side.
He was the beloved husband of the late Carol (Glynn) Nolan.
Born in Charlestown, Gerald was the son of the late Richard and Helen (Briggs) Nolan.
A proud Marine Veteran of Korea, having been awarded with the National Defense Service Medal, Korean Service Medal, United Nations Service medal and the Good Conduct Service Medal. He was also a proud Coast Guard Veteran.
Before retiring, Mr. Nolan was employed with Waltham Beef and Provision as a machinist.
Gerald enjoyed helping people and animals along with cherishing time with his family.
Mr. Nolan is survived by his loving daughter Cynthia Kiessling and her husband Jonathan of East Taunton, grandfather of Katherine Butler and her husband Robert and Victoria Kiessling and her husband Brian and brother of Stephen Nolan of Plymouth. He was also the brother of the late Richard Nolan, David Nolan, Mary Harris, Ruth Lane, Donna McLoud, Dorothy Nelson and the late Helen “June” Forziati.
Funeral services were held privately.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts made to; Old Colony Hospice Care 321 Manley Street, West Bridgewater MA 02379- philanthrophy@oldcolonyhospice.com, in Gerald’s memory, would be deeply appreciated.
