RAYNHAM - Geraldina (Pacheco) Massa, wife of the late Tobias D. Massa, died at Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton after a brief illness on November 22, 2010.
She was 87.
Born in St. Michael, Azores, she was the daughter of the late Daniel and Maria Pacheco.
Mrs. Massa moved to this country at the age of Twenty-four.
A self-employed dairy farmer, she co-owned and operated the former Locust Knoll Farm of Raynham with her late husband for over forty years.
In her spare time, she enjoyed crocheting, playing the tambourine, listening to country music, and spending time with family and friends.
She leaves three sons, Joseph D. Massa of Attleboro, Tobias D. Massa, Jr. of Taunton, and Manuel D. Massa of Raynham; two daughters, Geraldine D. Precourt and Serafina D. Volner, both of Raynham; sixteen grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also the mother of the late Daniel D. Massa.
Funeral Services will be held at the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway on Monday, Nov. 29th at 11 a.m.
Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
Calling Hours will be held at the funeral home on Sunday, Nov. 28th from 5 to 8 p.m.
