Gilbert F. Coute, Jr., age 58 of Taunton, passed away at his residence on June 3, 2018 with his loving family by his side.
He was the beloved husband of Pamela (Brienzi) Coute.
Gilbert was born in Taunton, a son of Ruth (Smith) Coute and the late Gilbert F. Coute, Sr.
Before retirement, Mr. Coute was employed with Reed & Barton and previously with Davol Printing. Gilbert loved classic cars and was an avid NASCAR racing fan. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, he enjoyed the outdoors. Most of all Gilbert was a loving and caring person who cherished time spent with his family and friends.
Besides his beloved wife Pamela of 35 years and his mother Ruth, he is survived by a son Gregory Coute, a sister Karen Dupont and her husband Daniel of Taunton, one niece and two nephews.
Mr. Coute’s funeral with visitation will be held on Thursday, June 7, 2018 at 9am with a funeral service to begin at 11 am in The Silva Funeral Home 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary’s Square) Taunton. Interment will follow in Saint Joseph Cemetery.
