Gloria A. (Peachey) O’Reilly, age 97 of Brockton, passed away on July 13, 2021 at Brockton Hospital.
She was the beloved wife of the late William F. O’Reilly.
Gloria was born in Quincy, MA, the daughter of the late Leo and Hazel M. (Brannen) Peachey.
Gloria was a Graduate of Bentley College and worked as an accountant for many years. Gloria loved to read, knit, paint and garden at her family home on Lewis Park prior to moving to Brockton.
She is survived by her daughter Gayle Lydon and her husband Jim, son; Brian O’Reilly and his wife Carol, eight grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Jeffrey O’Reilly and sister of the late Leo Peachey, Eleanor Bizuka and Eileen White.
Gloria’s funeral with visitation will be held on Friday, July 16, 2021 from 10:00am to 12:00pm, with a funeral home service to begin at 12:00pm in the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary’s Square) Taunton.
Interment will follow in MA National Cemetery, Bourne, MA.
