Gregory John Paiva, age 53 of East Taunton, passed away on May 14, 2018 at Charlton Memorial Hospital.
Gregory was born in Boston, a son of Kathleen (Manning) Paiva of East Taunton and the late Russell A. Paiva.
Mr. Paiva was employed most of his life in shipping & Receiving and most recently with ERD Metal Co in Avon. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing and was an avid sports fan. Most of all he was loving ,caring, kind and will be missed by his family and friends.
Besides his beloved mother Kathleen, Gregory is survived by his loving son Russell D. Paiva of East Taunton, and many aunts, uncles and cousins and his companion Laura Buell. He was also the brother of the late Christopher J. Paiva.
Visiting hours will be held on Saturday evening, May 19, 2018 from 5 to 7pm. A funeral service will be held at 6:30pm in the Silva Funeral Home 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary’s Square) Taunton. (Additional parking with handicap access is located on the north side of the funeral home.)
Interment in Mayflower Hill Cemetery will be privately held.
