TAUNTON - Harriet Y. (LaPointe) Wambolt, wife of the late Arthur Wambolt, died at her Taunton home on Dec. 31, 2010.
She was 79.
Born in Rochester, NH, she was the daughter of the late Romeo and Emma (Flanagan) LaPointe.
She spent most of her childhood years in Norton and attended Norton schools, moving to the Taunton area in 1949.
A homemaker for most of her adult life, Mrs. Wambolt enjoyed playing Bingo and collecting.
She was a communicant of St. Nicholas of Myra Church in North Dighton.
Survivors include three daughters, Carol L. Gray and her husband Robert of Swansea, Claudia A. Ohler and her husband Bill of Taunton, and Julie L. Jardin and her husband John of Mashpee; a brother, Edward Courbron and his wife May of Attleboro; twelve grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also the mother of the late Sandra Bradford, and the sister of the late Ernest LaPointe.
Her funeral will be held from the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway on Tuesday, Jan. 4th at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral mass at St. Nicholas of Myra Church, North Dighton at 10 a.m.
Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery in Taunton.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
Calling Hours will be held at the funeral home on Monday, Jan. 3rd from 4 to 7 p.m.
