Henrique De Fraga Da Silveira

TAUNTON - Henrique de Fraga da Silveira, husband of Maria Fatima (Vasconcellos) Silveira, died at his Taunton home on August 3, 2010.
He was 82.
Born in Flores, Azores, he was the son of the late Manuel and Maria (da Silveira) Vicente da Fraga.
Raised and educated in the Azores, he immigrated to the U.S. in 1974 where he resided with his beloved wife of thirty-six years.
Employed by Dyecraftsman for many years, he retired many years ago.
Mr. Silveira was a communicant of St. Anthony Church and an active member of the Holy Ghost Society in Taunton and New Bedford.
An avid gardener, he was happiest when with his family, and especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
Besides his wife of Taunton, he leaves a son, Joseph H. Silveira and his wife Fernanda of Taunton; a daughter, Maria Cathcart and her husband Joseph of Wareham; three sisters, Leonor Mendonca and Maria Andrade, both of CA and Maria F. do Espirito Santo of Flores, Azores; four grandchildren, Jacqueline, Zachary, Joseph and Emily; and many nieces and nephews.
He was also the brother of the late Jose Fraga Silveira, Lino Fraga Silveira, Roque Fraga and Geneveve Fraga.
A funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Anthony Church on Friday, Aug. 6th at 9 a.m.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery.
