MARBLE FALLS, TEXAS - Irene (Correia) Phillips, formerly of Taunton, MA, died at the Kingsland Hills Care Center in Kingsland, Texas on June 24, 2012.
She was 80 years old.
Born in Taunton, the daughter of the late Peter S. and Mary (Rapoza) Correia, she was raised and educated in Taunton, and was a communicant of the former Our Lady of Lourdes Church.
Mrs. Phillips resided in Florida for several years, where she was employed by the Holiday Inn in Orlando.
She moved to Texas many years ago.
Survivors include a son, Michael E. Phillips and his wife Cecilia of Marble Falls, TX; a daughter, Deborah Tola of Marble Falls; three grandsons; and two great granddaughters.
Graveside Services will be held St. Joseph Cemetery in Taunton on Saturday, Sept. 1st at 12 Noon.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
