James L. Aiguier, Jr., age 27, of Fall River, passed away on Friday, June 23, 2023, at his home in Fall River.
Born in Boston, MA, James was the son of James L. Aiguier, Sr. and his wife Theresa (Woodward) Aiguier and Lori (Douglas) Walker and her husband Thomas Walker.
James was a Class of 2014 graduate from South Shore Regional Technical High School in Hanover. While in high school he was an accomplished member of the SSVT Viking wrestling team, where he was well liked and respected by his teammates for his tremendous work ethic and admirable determination.
James furthered his education by receiving his Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Umass Dartmouth. He was most recently employed as a Registered Nurse at St. Anne’s Hospital in Fall River providing the utmost comfort and care to his patients.
He enjoyed being a Nurse, spending time with his friends and family, playing video games with his siblings, he was an avid coffee drinker, lover of animals. James loved food and also wanted to travel.
In addition to his parents, James is survived by his proud and cherished siblings: Colm Aiguier, Liam Aiguier, Keira Aiguier, and Maeve Aiguier; his paternal grandparents: Robert A. and Kathryn A. Aiguier; his maternal grandparents: Robert Douglas and the late Robin Douglas; and also, many friends and extended family members.
Visiting hours will be held on Saturday, July 1, 2023 from 2 to 6pm in the Chapel of the Silva Funeral Home 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary’s Square) Taunton, MA 02780. Additional parking with handicap access is located on the North side of the funeral home.
His burial will be held privately.
